MLB天使投手史凱格斯猝逝 與遊騎兵比賽取消

美國職棒大聯盟(MLB)洛杉磯天使(Los Angeles Angels)表示，先發投手史凱格斯(Tyler Skaggs)1日被發現陳屍在德州的飯店內，得年僅27歲。天使與德州遊騎兵原訂1日晚上的比賽也因此取消。
天使發表聲明指出：「收到史凱格斯今天在德州去世的消息，非常難過。」聲明中並未透露死因。
德州紹斯萊克(Southlake)警方表示，1日下午接獲報案，天使隊下塌的希爾頓飯店人員發現史凱格斯沒有意識倒在房內，警方到場後，史凱格斯已經身亡，現場沒有可疑的痕跡，目前正在調查死因。
天使隊在聲明中說：「史凱格斯曾是、而且將永遠是天使家族重要的一部份。在此艱難的時刻，我們將與他的妻子卡莉(Carli)及其家人同在。」
史凱格斯出生於南加州，在2009年就讀中學時被天使在第一輪選秀挑中。他在2012年於大聯盟初登場。生涯96場先發出賽，防衛率為4.41。
