起雞母皮！樹上驚見蠕動「枸杞」 專家：別殺

新北驚見恐怖蟲蟲大軍！許多居民反應，近日在台灣欒樹周圍經常發現許多長得有如「枸杞」般的紅色蟲蟲群聚，讓人看了頭皮直發麻，新北市景觀處對此也做出解釋，公開這種蟲蟲的品種，並安撫民眾，這種蟲對人體無害，呼籲民眾不需驚慌，也不要去撲殺牠們。
據《三立新聞》報導，有民眾走在人行道上，發現行道樹旁有許多「枸杞」，還以為是有人沒公德心亂倒垃圾，沒想到仔細一看，竟發現這些「枸杞」會動，新北市景觀處指出，這種紅色的蟲蟲其實是「紅姬緣椿象」，又被稱為紅椿象或臭屁蟲，體色為紅褐色，成蟲背部小盾板周邊有黑色的V字型斑紋，觸角及腳呈黑色，無攻擊性且會有臭味。

景觀處處長林芳良強調，紅姬緣椿象所分泌的液體對人體無害，也不會對樹木造成傷害，因此民眾若看到也不用過度驚慌，也呼籲民眾，為了維護生態平衡與人體健康，若意外發現牠們，輕輕將牠們撥開就好，建議不要使用藥物撲殺，且牠們的生命周期僅3周左右，希望能讓牠們在大自然生長即可。
